4th Grade Celebrates Pi Day

Fourth graders at Brosville Elementary School learned about the meaning of the very special number called Pi. Pi Day is on March 14th (3-14) to represent the first 3 digits in the number Pi (3.14…) and the day celebrated all things circular and of course PIES! Students brought in their favorite type of pie to share with classmates then learned the mathematical symbol for Pi and why it is such a special number. It was a yummy and informative celebration!
