Brosville Visits the Community

The students in Ms. Elizabeth Barrett’s Pre-K class toured businesses in our local community! They began their adventure with a visit with Miss Kim at the Brosville Public Library. Then the class visited Virginia Bank & Trust, where they learned about how the tellers’ station works, what money looks and feels like, and what it means to save. Next, they visited the Brosville Animal Clinic to learn how veterinarians take care of animals, and were surprised with a pretend pet of their own to take home! After those visits, the students had worked up quite an appetite! They stopped at Dell’Anno’s Pizzeria, in Brosville Station, where they learned how to make a pizza and enjoyed lunch with their friends. Following lunch, they visited the Dan River Church Playground, and finished up the trip at the new fire station in downtown Danville.
