The best part of fall is all the yummy food to eat! At Brosville Elementary School, students celebrated Johnny Appleseed’s birthday with fun activities and delicious food. In Pre-K, students made marble paintings and apple spice play dough, tasted and graphed their favorite apples, read Ten Apples up on Top and counted out apples and put them on top of pictures of themselves. Several classes made delicious treats to eat including applesauce in first grade and PreK and apple butter and fresh bread in the kindergarten classes. The halls of the school were wonderfully scented all day! Students practiced following directions on the recipes and using measurement tools. In first grade, students brought in apples to cut apart and explore. Then they recorded their observations in apple writings.
