On Saturday, October 5th, Brosville Elementary celebrated its 20th anniversary with a memorable event! The community gathered to honor Brosville’s rich educational heritage and two decades of elementary fun. The festivities kicked off with speeches from Dr. Mark Jones, Pittsylvania County Superintendent, Mrs. Felita Atkins, the current BES principal, Gale Boulware, former principal when BES opened in 2004, and Elizabeth Shorter, one of four teachers who has worked at BES for its entire 20 years. Guests were also treated to a special performance by the Brosville Elementary Choir. Afterwards, visitors toured the school, admired student art, and explored the library, which displayed memorabilia from Brosville's long history. It was a day filled with joy, nostalgia, and a shared commitment to educating the next generation.
